The term “organic” can be quite misleading as it really means that the substance being described is carbon based. Is there anything in our world that isn’t carbon based?

Some lawn care operators use terms like “organic-based”, which is very misleading. For a product to be organic-based it must have a minimum of 15% organic materials – so it can have up to 85% synthetic material!

Watch out for companies who try to fool you using the term “organic-based”. It really means nothing, but gives the unsuspecting homeowner the perception they are getting a true organic program – which is not the case!

Wagner’s Organic Program utilizes only 100% organic fertilizers. We also utilize the cultural practices of soil amendments, bio-stimulants, aerating, and over-seeding …without the use of chemical applications.

One 100% Organic Bio-Stimulant Spray

Finally, over-seeding with a proper “certified” grass seed specific for the area being serviced is another vital part of Wagner’s Organic Program. Wagner utilizes a certified quality grass seed, ensuring a high germination rate with no weed seeds in the mix. Our over-seeding mix is a special three-way blend of perennial rye cultivars specifically used for over-seeding. Creeping red fescues are used when over-seeding in a area where shade is an issue.
