About the Owner

• Glenn Wagner was employed in the corporate world by Southam Inc. for nearly 15 years. When he decided to leave, Glenn was responsible for a $25 million division of Southam with eight offices and nearly 200 staff. As Managing Director of this division, he oversaw all aspects of the business, from hiring to training, sales and marketing to product development.

• In 1992, Glenn saw the opportunity of entering into his own business - a type of business which his father-in-law had been involved in for 30 years - lawn care.

• After much prayer and discussion, Glenn and his family moved to Orillia in 1993 and started the first operation of Wagner Lawn Care. Working the business personally, Glenn utilized his corporate background and developed marketing strategies and action plans which helped the business flourish.

• Building on a foundation of honesty and integrity, Wagner Lawn Care in Orillia has grown each and every year since inception.
